Flower Tour:
DAY 1: 9H00 Leaving from Somerset West to Stellenbosch. On route stop for one wine tasting. Then drive passed Paarl, through Malmesbury onto Darling. At
Darling, the Jewel of the West Coast, we will make a stop at Evita's
Peron art centre and museum.
At Darling we will see the first flower fields. We will carry on to have a quick look at Yzerfontein at the Atlantic Ocean. The rest of the afternoon we will spend in the West Coast and Postberg Flower Reserve. We will stay over at Langebaan and can have supper at The Froggy's Restaurant (very good food).
DAY 2: 9h00, after breakfast, we will drive to the Fossil Museum at Langebaan Weg to look at the most interesting excavations on the West Coast. From
there we will carry on to Paternoster, a quaint little
fisher "dorpie" (village) and Titis Bay, with its beautiful coastline, time permitting.
We then travel on to Stompneus for lunch at the
Oystercatcher Restaurant. After lunch we travel through St.
Helena on to Picketberg where we will get onto the N7 to drive further to Springbok. We will arrive in Springbok late afternoon, but stay here for two nights.

spend the whole day in "God's own Garden", the Namaqualand National Park in its full bloom of Namaqualand Daisies (if
it is a good year).

the Goegap Nature Park to see all the succulents in flower (too early for this in August). Then we will reach Nieuwoudsville for the Splendour of bulbs in flower. After lunch we will travel further
through a part of the Cederberge. (If
visitors want to spend R2,500pp more on their trip, I would like to take them for one night to Bushman Kloof Nature Reserve
for a real 5star experience in a Lodge with Game drives, Bushman paintings and very interesting rock formations (full payment
for meals and Safarie included). Otherwise we will just visit the Seville
Bushman paintings,
go for a short
hike here and take the Pakhuis Pass over to Clan
William. We will stay in a good 3star Guest House for
the last night.
DAY 5: 9h30 Today we visit the Rooibos factory, the Clan William Dam and drive via Citrusdal back to Somerset West.
My cost for two to three people, will be R6,800 per person
